Definition and Composition

Three-dimensional composite drainage network is a new type of drainage geotechnical material, which is composed of a three-dimensional geotechnical mesh core with needle-punched perforated non-woven geotechnical fabric adhered to both sides. The structure of this material consists of a thick vertical rib and one diagonal rib at the top and bottom.

Function and Purpose

The main function of the three-dimensional composite drainage network is drainage, and it can also play the role of isolation and foundation reinforcement. It can withstand high compressive loads throughout the use process and maintain a considerable thickness, providing good water permeability. In addition, it has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and long service life.

The main uses of three-dimensional composite drainage networks include drainage in landfills, roadbeds, and tunnel interiors. Due to its unique three-dimensional structure and excellent drainage performance, it is also commonly used in environmental protection projects such as landfills.

Construction Requirements

Before laying the three-dimensional composite drainage net, the foundation needs to be treated, including leveling and compaction of the lower layer, with a flatness requirement of no more than 15mm and a compaction degree meeting the design requirements. During laying, the direction with high main strength of the reinforcement material should be perpendicular to the axis of the road embankment. The overlapping length (longitudinal) of each section shall not be less than 15cm, and it should be fixed with U-shaped nails or connectors, with a spacing of 1.0m. The transverse overlapping length should be 30 to 90cm, and the overlapping position should be fixed with U-shaped nails or nylon rope.
